What does this car say about you?
Many people automatcially think boy racer so expext a lot of youths to try and race you.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They say it looks smart and never turn down a lift anywhere lol.
Would you buy this car again and why?
This is a great car but interior is quite basic and dated. Next i want a more modern car but its hard to find one with similar amounts of fun.
What are you likely to buy next?
206 gti 180 maybe.

Did you get a good deal and why?
Bought second hand but went to view the car the day it was posted on autotrader. The next day the guy said he had 4 people ring up since then so cant be bad.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Had a 106 1.5D previous to the GTI and that was sound so I decided to stick with what i liked.
What was the dealer like?
People were middle aged and seemed genuine. Even put a new MOT on it adn when it failed on tires he didnt put on budget tyres.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
A LOT OF FUN!!! 2nd gear is a little bit long (67mph on limiter) and the engine dies a bit from 1st to 2nd. Dont believe the 0-60 of 8.4, i can beat my dads 206 gti off the line EVERY time (7.9) so believe evo magazines time of 7.4! Handling is great for normal driving but push too hard and the back end tends to step out.
What's it like to park?
Very small car with power steering so very easy to park. Also has a very tight turning circle which helps.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Brakes needed doing straight away virtualy aswell as a service. Also one of the driveshaft gaiters had split within 6 months but other than that nothing.
What's most practical about your car?
Great performance!!!
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Sunroof is pretty good but those half leather seats are great.
