Summary
What does this car say about you?
Someone who wants very cheap motoring and who doesn't care too much about image. My 100 mile daily commute takes exactly the same amount of time in this as it did in my previous Fabia VRS and Mondeo!
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They think it's small and tinny, but then they go for a drive in it and see what it's all about! They now appreciate that it is a very good functional car.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes, unless something similar catches my eye instead. I will never go back to large/sports/luxury cars as they are increasingly pointless these days.
What are you likely to buy next?
Something similar. *** UPDATE ON THIS CAR*** I sold it after 16 months as whilst I liked it, it leaked like a sieve - through the rear extractor vents, rear light fitting, and passenger door. Dealer was useless and couldn't fix it so I sold it and it is now someone else's problem.

May 2008
Did you get a good deal and why?
Had to haggle a lot, but ended up with a fair deal.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
To lower the cost of day-to-day motoring, leaving me more money for my motorbike and holidays.
What was the dealer like?
Surprisingly good, but then I ended up with a decent salesman.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Quite good fun. Reasonable performance from 1 litre engine, and tidy handling. Thought it would be a major come-down from my Fabia VRS but not at all. It's just as much fun to drive, although not quite a same overtaking ability.
What's it like to park?
Couldn't be easier.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Nothing at all.
What's most practical about your car?
The low running costs.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The CD stereo (it's the only gadget the car has!)
