Peugeot 2008 (2013 - 2019) 1.6 e-HDi Active 5d Owner Review
Want to know everything there is to know about this car?
In their own words
I’ve not even done 20000 mls in this 3 year old car and just learned that it needs a new emissions/urea tank at a cost of almost £1000 plus labour. I have only just learned that in 2017 there was a recall because the urea filling cap was faulty. Although I was living at the same address as when I bought the car, I received no notification of this. Two independent garages have advised me that the need for a new tank is directly linked to the faulty cap. Despite this, Peugeot are refusing to cover the whole cost of the repair. I have been running a car for 45 years, always bought new and took good care of them and, other than typical wear and tear repairs, I have never experienced such a major issue with any of my cars. One thing is for certain-never again will I buy Peugeot. If only they had taken complete responsibility for the repair, then this review would have been so much better.
