What does this car say about you?

it's all standard so hopefully people don't think i look like an idiot. it puts a smile on my face and older people tend to look at it (20-30 year old), youngsters don't seem to look.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

they like it, it's not really a boy racer car, it's becoming more of a classic car. this car look best as standard, modifying can wreck the looks.

Would you buy this car again and why?

no, it is a stunning car a i love driving it, but the constant little problems do get a bit annoying after a while. the engine is strong and mine has done 115,000 miles and oil still stays golden for a long time. however other things which constantly break and are unreliable are just a joke. it's french and i wouldn't touch another french car again.

Did you get a good deal and why?

it wansn't the best deal i could have got, but it was the spec i wanted (non cat, sunroof, power steering), so i was willing to pay slightly more.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

always wanted a hot hatch, but never wanted a golf as the 205 was always better.

What was the dealer like?

okay, i got it on ebay from a dealer dealing with older cars.

What's it like to drive?

great handling, quick but once you get near a tonne acceleration is not that great. the exhaust note is superb even from a standard exhaust. don't be fooled into thinking a bigger exhaust is better, a standard pipe is hard to beat in terms of performance. handling can be twitchy and don't put cheap tyres on it.

What's it like to park?

visibility is great, parking is an ease but i have the power steering model. non power steering models may be a bit harder.

Have you had any problems with the car?

it's french, they're always going wrong.

What's most practical about your car?

quick of the lights, lots of torque, comfortable if you're not too tall.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

not many accessories considering it's the top model. my 2.0 glx sierra had more spec.
