Economy
Value
Good value for money as there are more and more models on the market all the time.
Costs
Parts are quite cheap, even from Peugeot. There are plently of places that sell after market as well as original parts. Autofive, Andy Spares and Euro Car Parts to name but a few.

On the road
Driving
The driver experience resembles a track day, every day. Uprated brakes and suspension is a must if your planing to do this. However, original parts are more than adequate.
Performance
Pre Cat models have much more low down torque, but the post cat models still have a lot of fun to be had!

Living with it
Reliability
Ok it is french, but if yours is well looked after and regularly serviced, you should not experience any problems.
Image
Still as cool as it ever was. Not out dated one bit!
Comfort
The GTi interior is fantastic. The seats are excellent as well.

Security and Service
Security
Later models came with security features, some even Thatcham approved. However, it's best to get something extra fitted. Engine immobiliser if possible, with alarm even better. Category 1.
Service
Manufacturer has always given me a good level of serivce.
