Peugeot 206 Coupe Cabriolet (2001 - 2007) 2.0 SE 2d Owner Review

In their own words
For the price you can pick these up for now, they are a fantastic little fun car for the summer. The metal roof means no worries about leaving it parked on the street. As there are plenty of them around, especially the hatchback versions, spares are cheap and easy to come by. The 2.0 can be very thirsty if you drive even slightly aggressively though! Mine is 15 years old at this point and still feels great to drive. The driving position takes a bit of getting used to, but isn't as bad as some have made it out to be. The interior might not have all the bells and whistles of modern cars, but it has everything you need and if you want bluetooth etc, then aftermarket stereos are both cheap and easy to install to add this functionality. Be aware of the 2.0 car's unusual tyre size. 205/45R16. Decent tyres in this size are more expensive than you would think, so if buying used check the amount of tread and use this for getting down the price if applicable.
How reliable do you find the car?
Clutch cale snapped during the winter, repair was very cheap and has been trouble free since.Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
The 2.0 litre engine is responsive and fairly quick. The interior is comfortable and the climate control is fantastic. No cup holders, but plenty of little cubby holes for storage. The boot is huge with the roof up although pretty tiny when it's down. Looks fantastic! rear seats best for VERY occassional use, but at least they are there if (really!) needed!About their car
