Summary
What does this car say about you?
I don't care I'm afraid, make of it what you will!
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
It's a cutey and no one ever believes she's nearly 13 years old on a 51 plate. Btw this is without doubt the worst photo on the planet.
Would you buy this car again and why?
I would have to think seriously as my daughter was a lot smaller 4 years ago and might not fit with dad in the car too soon but I don't plan in changing it until it reaches a terminal problem!
What are you likely to buy next?
Hopefully I won't drive by a bright tidy convertible gleaming in the sun and fall in love, but I might go for a new Asian car with huge warranty next.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Independent
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£3,700
When did you buy the car?
May 2009
Did you get a good deal and why?
I don't suppose I did as it was about book price and came with a years warranty but needed a clutch fairly quickly.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
It was brightest red, leather seats, with climate control and all extras and I have a weakness for convertibles.
What was the dealer like?
Seemed relatively reliable and well mannered.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Fast and solid with great grip, except in the wet when it can be a bit lively due to the fairly wide wheels and small size but Peugeot missed a trick with the gearbox which limits top speed as it needs a 6th gear or a less tight gearbox.
What's it like to park?
Easy peasy.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
I LOVE my car and have felt proud and protective of it every single day of ownership. It hasn't let me down and yes I have spent money on it but it's cheap to repair and well worth the upkeep, which to be fair has only been the stuff you would expect after 120k mikes now and 13 years old nearly.
What's most practical about your car?
Climate control is a must and the fold down hard top makes for occasionally seeing daylight on the way to and from work which brightens the mood and even though it is a two plus two re seats and I have a 6 foot 6 inch husband and a 4 foot tall 6 year old, we all still fit in it and are very pleased to have her.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The fold away at the press of a button roof of course.
