Summary
What does this car say about you?
maybe that I fancy a few more toys and abit more power without it being to obvious.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Friends and family like it - especially becuase this one doesnt break down unlike my previous bmw cabriolet. Everyone likes the interior, it feels good quality and looks the part.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes, I still think that the car is good value. Its just as quick as my previous 328 bmw with half the fuel costs, cheaper insurance, better interior and more gadgets as well.
What are you likely to buy next?
Maybe an evo 8 or something physically larger with slightly more grunt.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Independent
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£9,999
When did you buy the car?
August 2007
Did you get a good deal and why?
I think I got a decent deal. Paid enough for the car but I got a good trade in price for my old car and they did a decent audio upgrade free of charge which included a touch screen dvd player etc.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I went for the car because compared to the BMW I was trading in, this seemed like alot of car for the money with very little miles on the clock.
What was the dealer like?
Superb. I bought the car from Gouldings car sales in Lincoln - they cant ever do enough for you there.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
It's a decent drive but not perfect. I love the front bucket seats, they're so comfy and feel quality. The handling is ok although somewhat twitchy in the wet. My only complaint is the gearbox is not exactly what you'd call smooth. It's fine driving along country roads and motorways, it's only a pain when crawling along in a traffic jams. The power is good although not frightening. You need to rev it high and make the engine work hard to get the most out of it, but once its going you will keep up with most and beat a good number of respectable cars - especially as many drivers(especially those in bmw's or mercs) dont expect to be beaten by a peugeot.
What's it like to park?
fine, no problems at all, good visibility and not exactly a large car.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
The exhaust blew after 6 weeks of me owning it but the dealer sorted it for me - just as well as the back box would of cost me around £350!
What's most practical about your car?
Decent sized boot, 4 seats(all nicely trimmed in black leather and grey alcantar suede) and if you drive it reasonably you'll easily achieve over 30mpg.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
I love the sound system and dvd player, it's like being in my local odeon cinema its that loud. Also, it's not a gadget but I love the interior with loads of leather, alcantara and brushed aluminium everywhere.
