I like this car but I've been unlucky with a couple of major expensive fixes a back axle which this model is well known for and a leaking steering rack resulting in an mot fail. On the plus side its a great little car for reliability it's cheap to run and is quite fun to drive. My model is the se version so it's well equipped with air conditioning all round electric windows audio remote control electric mirrors and a mini climate control. Other than the two mentioned major problems the car has been very reliable and has very good economy with average mpg at around 60.The tax band is cheap at 30 pounds per annum so running costs are low.
How reliable do you find the car?
Had to renew back axle around five months after purchase was expensive to repair as a new axle was used. Failed most recent mot and a leaking steering rack was the major problem this again was expensive to fix as a new rack had to be sourced.Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
It has been a reliable little car with good mpg cheap tax and very low running costs. I've been disappointed with expensive repairs but these are down to the cars age.About their car
