Economy
Value
They're quite reasonably priced these days. Keeps it's 2nd-hand value, too.
Costs
One-or-two niggles, although it does have a long service interval. Frugal on diesel, mind.
-
On the road
Driving
Handles corners with ease, nothing bad or exceptionally good, either.
Performance
Nippy, not fast. Torquey, likes hills, comfy cruise at high speed.
-
Living with it
Reliability
Air filter became damp, causing a loss of power, drop links must be made out of paper, considering how many I've got through.
Image
Still looks good, even in what Peugeot describe as "Firedance", or as most people would describe it "Metallic Orange".
Comfort
I always feel awkward in it, and the pedals don't suit my big size 11's.

Security and Service
Security
No problems, I'm pleased to say - I heard people talk of an electrical fault which disabled the central locking, but I think that's been ironed-out, because it certainly doesn't affect mine.
Service
Without trying to sound libellous, I'm sure my local Peugeot garage has ""tried it on"" on more than one occasion. I.e. expensive faults, which suddenly aren't a problem when I pointed out I had an extended warrantee

Engine
No problems.
Other
Like I said - drop links. Okay, I'm not a small chap, so they would be put under more strain than some 206's, but I've got through 4 of the blighters!
