Peugeot 206 SW 2.0 HDi D Turbo (90bhp) 5d (AC) (2003/53) Owner Review

Economy
Value
Dont buy it if you're looking for more space, there is more room in a 307. There is a little more room in the boot than the 206, but only just.
Costs
Vehicle has not cost me anything. Slow depreciation should allow the owner to get somthing back later on.

On the road
Driving
Slightly awkward driving position, pedals close together. General driving that aside it drives smoothly and handles like a dream.
Performance
A little slower than the standard 206 HDI which is to be expected. For overtakes on country roads you need to knock it down to third, fouth and fith gears are slow on the pickup. This car is a diesel, it does 40 plus to the gallon ideal small family car.

Living with it
Reliability
No probs.
Image
This car looks the buisness. Best looking estate on the market next to the 307 anyway.
Comfort
Slightly cramped in the rear, only enough room for one pram and a weeks shopping in the boot.

Security and Service
Security
Manufacturer's alarm and immobiliser fitted. Alarm is not loud enough, it's easily ignored.
Service
No real probs, still under warranty. I expect the next owner will have more dealings with them than me.
