Summary
What does this car say about you?
Sophisticated urbanite who did not want to buy a plain looking Polo/Clio.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They think its very nice and spacious. Praise indeed as our previous car was a very large and comfy Volvo V70.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Maybe. We will change it in two years and there could be something more interesting on offer from another manufacturer. Will definately visit the Peugeot garage first when changing though.
What are you likely to buy next?
Not sure at the moment but think the Mazda 2 looks very nice.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchise
Did you buy this car new?
Yes
What price did you pay?
£11,531
When did you buy the car?
January 2008
Did you get a good deal and why?
Got a discount of almost £2000, plus a free set of mats and a ipod dock, so yes, a good deal I think.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Had a 206 previously. Also used to work for PSA, which made me a little brand loyal to Peugeot/Citroen.
What was the dealer like?
Good. Salesman was fairly new but what he did not know he found out. Nice dealership inside. Very corporate.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Very good. Nippy in town and quiet on the motorway. Glad we went for the 1.4 16 valve. Test drove the 1.4 8 valve and it really did need to be thrashed to get decent performance.
What's it like to park?
Easy. Cant see end of bonnet but most new cars are like that. Vision is generally good, although the very wide windscreen pillar can obscure things when turning right. Am sure will get used to it.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Automatic lights are on all the time at present, but as we traded in a Volvo, we are used to it. Should be sorted at first service.
What's most practical about your car?
Good mpg, especially after previous car. Very roomy in the front and a large load area when the rear seats are folded down.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Glass roof. Its fantastic and even on a dull day, it fills the cabin with natural light.
