Summary
What does this car say about you?
That I'm silly for buying a French car... But it's a good looker.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Everyone seems to like my car, but I still get the comments about it being French!
Would you buy this car again and why?
I wouldn't. Due to Peugeot's reputation, my next car will be a more reliable car with a bit more oomph!
What are you likely to buy next?
I've been looking at all sorts... Audi TT, Audi A3, Volkswagen Scirocco, BMW 1 series/3 series... I just don't know!

Did you get a good deal and why?
Car was advertised at £5950, I haggled to £5500. I feel it was a good deal.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I wouldn't normally go for a Peugeot, but this one was an ex-demo and had all of the gadgets! And as it was the GT model, looked great.

The Peugeot dealer was helpful.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
It drives really nicely, the turbo can lag a little, but once it kicks in, the car pulls nicely! Has a nice sporty feel to it too.
What's it like to park?
Parking is easy, big rear window, small car & parking sensors makes it all simple!

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Well. The day before I bought the car... The ESP unit became faulty. The Peugeot garage sorted this out for me - no charge. Apparently this unit costs a few thousand?... Well, that was free for me so I'm happy! The turbo tube has come loose before, not a problem, just pushed it back into place and tightened up. The external lights had some earthing issues, some connectors got a little rusty.
What's most practical about your car?
I'm a tall chap, so I'd say head room and leg room is good, even in the back for passengers. Mind you, the boot is a decent size too. For a small car, it's pretty spacious!
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Ooooh, the car has everything you could want... Automatic lights & wipers, satnav, tinted windows, JBL speakers, panoramic roof, dual-zone air-con, auxiliary, 6-CD changer, leather seats, electric wing mirrors, parking sensors, cruise control, speed limiter... But. My favourite has to be the upgraded JBL sound system. 4 speakers, 2 tweeters and a built in sub. It's beautiful.
