Summary
What does this car say about you?
Cheap, and you have poor style.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
That it's ugly but spacious. That sums it up really.
Would you buy this car again and why?
The 208 looks nice, but given the reliability track record of this 207 probably not.
What are you likely to buy next?
Focus, Golf... anything with a better reliability index (don't believe Warranty Direct's reliability index, it's rubbish.).

Seemed like it at the time, looking back I'm not sure.

Economy
What was the dealer like?
Reasonably good (Robins and Day.) Quite attentive to problems but failed to fix any.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Now, being fair. The car does hold the road well being quite low. The acceleration of the 90bhp model is pretty impressive so the 110 is probably worth it if you can afford it.
What's it like to park?
Fair, because it's low it's easy to hit kerbs. Also, the three door model has massive front doors that are almost impossible to get out of without rubbing your backside on the car getting rather dirty in the process in tight spaces.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
1. Bulbs randomly blowing (and consistently) on various parts of the car (headlight, sidelight, rear side, indicators...) I think the only bulbs that haven't blown are the reverse lights. 2. Struggles to come out of fifth gear at lower speeds shifting down to fourth. Raised with dealer - "known issue" replaced linkages, made no difference. 3. Changes brakes - now have ABS fault and "breaking system" faults that require further investigation. 4. Trim in boot broke off in my hand. 5. Door trim broke when shutting door. 6. Washers blocked constantly. 7. Paintwork has spoiled/worn badly. Apart from all that, reliable (tries not to laugh.).
What's most practical about your car?
It's reasonably large inside. The tax is £30 a year (motorbike cost) but then it's virtually a motorbike given it's reliability track record.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Steering wheel radio controls. Says quite a bit.
