They seem to like it, although they have never had to drive it.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchise
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£9,950
When did you buy the car?
July 2008
Did you get a good deal and why?
Ex demo car so a little cheaper than normal, and of course looked after properly by Peugeot from the day it was born. Managed to PX 2 cars - one of which they gave me £600 for when I only paid £200 to buy it.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
At £35/year road tax and 60+mpg it's cheap to run, and it had over 2 years warranty left so shouldn't have any problems with repairs.
What was the dealer like?
Seemed like a nice bloke, but the usual sales type. Left explaining VRI insurance till the moment I picked up the car, and so brought the insurance at £379 which was then cancelled within the 14 days for a full refund when I came to my senses!

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
There's a reasonable amount of poke from the engine, but everything is so pointlessly light. It's like driving a simulator sat in front of the computer - infact I think that would be more fun. Very uncomfortable seat back that doesn't have lumbar adjustment. Do not buy this car if you are tall, you won't ever, not even in a million years get comfortable, as the pedals need to go towards the front of the car more. Pedals are too small and close together. Gearbox feels like Blue Peter style plastic bits held together with string and egg boxes. Stupidly large and positioned 'A' pillar seems to get in the way of everything no matter where you sit. Large dash seems to make for large amounts of reflection on the windscreen. The safest car I've ever driven? Yes
What's it like to park?
Reasonable.
