What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Trepidation comes as it isn't a Ford Fiesta but this quickly vanishes after being in it.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Absolutely. Frugal, fun and well equipped. It's a no brainer with some of Peugeot's deals.
What are you likely to buy next?
Another Peugeot; potentially a 2008 with the turbo charged version of the same engine.

Did you get a good deal and why?
They managed to re-finance us out of a 4 year old TDi Seat that was suffering DPF Issues. Though not easy due to residual value issues, they came up with a good deal with low deposit and a very cheap service plan.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Good deal and quite different to what we bought before.
What was the dealer like?
Gently pushy. Very polite, friendly and calm throughout and let the car do the talking. Clear he wanted to make a sale and aftersales experience has been a little lacklustre (mainly frustratingly slow to respond to queries).

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Fun and refreshingly easy. The puretec engine really is a peach. It offers enough torque and performance to satisfy most people and never feels underpowered, despite missing out on a turbo (though the engine is now offered with a turbo across most of Peugeot's range). It loves to be revved and makes a pleasing thrummy noise while doing it. Steering is supple and light and the car rides well; it even weighs up and remains hushed at motorway speeds. I regularly take my car on a 250 mile round trip to the midlands and it copes with this admirably. The only irritations are a vague clutch (leading to some embarrassingly stunted pulling away) and a loose, notchy gearchange.
What's it like to park?
A doddle. most Models come with utterly unnecessary parking sensors but the overhangs either end are small. Light steering makes getting into any space a breeze.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Over 6k miles in less than a year, the car has been faultlessly reliable. No engine, clutch, electrical mishaps nor broken trim or exterior marks.
What's most practical about your car?
Despite having quite a petite chassis, the car's relatively upright body stance and clever interior design make it quite practical. Easily able to hold 4 adults in comfort as well as a week's worth of holiday kit in the boot. Decent shoulder room too.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The multimedia touch screen system is a must have; buying the Access models without it would be foolish. It's a very intuitive system that connects to just about anything via USB or bluetooth; hands free calling is excellent and you can fully control the full audio menu from the steering wheel. It comes with Sat Nav in my version which is quick, efficient and graphically pleasing; even has junction guidance. Special mention for PSA's cruise control system, common to Peugeot's and Citroens, which is far more flexible and intuitive than VAG or GM versions.
