Summary
What does this car say about you?
It says I'm practice not flash. 208GTi is quite under-stated, not too flash but has a little bit of bling.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Everyone seems to like it and everyones is surprised by the poke.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes indeed, great little car.
What are you likely to buy next?
Not sure. Quite like the look of 308 Gti Would love a BMW z3 coupe or maybe the Z4 coupe, would need to drive one first.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchised
Did you buy this car new?
Yes
What price did you pay?
£14,200
When did you buy the car?
June 2015
Did you get a good deal and why?
The price was amazing, £5k below list price cheaper than many second hand versions ! It is white (which wouldn't have been my choice) and didn't have some of the goodies I would like to have added as extras but at £5k less, who cares. I'm learning to love a white car.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
It's a white 208 GTi with 200 BHP ! I live in a rural area with undulating and rough/bouncy roads, so I needed something that had a little give in the suspension but was still fairly economical but packed a punch.
What was the dealer like?
Excellent !

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
It's a great little car to drive ! It's got a 1.6 turbo engine, it can be driven around town at low revs like any shopping car hatchback, but get it on the open road and increase the revs and this car has a lot of grunt. Tons of grip too. The suspension is an excellent compromise between sporty and stiff and supple comfort. Ideal for rural roads. Motorways and long trunk road journeys are a breeze. Have completed several 400+ mile journeys and have had no problems.
What's it like to park?
Small car, but you can't see the front. Slowly getting used to that. Parking sensors on the rear are good.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Nothing as yet.
What's most practical about your car?
It's a great little hatchback. Being 3 door makes access a little more awkward for rear seat users, but thats fine, we don't have kids and rarely have extra passengers, so the rea seats is where all our clobber sits. The boots a good size for our labrador .
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The seats are really comfortable and supportive. Love the dual climate control. Bluetooth and USB access for phone/music etc is ace. Speaker quality is ok.
