Summary
What does this car say about you?
It isn't a great looking car and probably says I am boring old man. The interior experience and drive are fabulous. Looks are only skin deep and when you are driving you are truly inside this great car.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They like the interior space and the quality of the ride.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes. this feels like a quality car in terms of ride, economy and flexibility. It has all the gadgets (Bluetooth, cruise control, rear parking sensor etc) and for a very reasonable price.
What are you likely to buy next?
Probably another Peugeot an this experience.

Did you get a good deal and why?
Got a good trade in on my focus and the price of the 3008 seemed good compared to my online research at Parkers.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
What was the dealer like?
The Dealer was helpful but not pushy. Fords of Winford have an excellent reputation for giving customers time and space to make a decision themselves.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
The 3008 is great on the motorway (which was a concern considering the 1.6 HDI engine). Fuel economy is better than my previous 1.6 diesel hatchback although the official stats say the opposite.
What's it like to park?
Parking is fine although I am still adjusting to the Tardis effect (it appears much bigger on the inside that it actually is). The rear parking sensor is an added bonus.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Not so far, had it three weeks and due to holidays etc have done 1500 miles.
What's most practical about your car?
The flexible interior load space (fold down from seat) and sizeable boot with options of splitting to different height compartments are excellent.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The centre arm rest is very comfortable and the suspension/ride quality is great.
