What does this car say about you?

I love the fact that it sits on the drive all sparkling in its shark grey metallic paint looking like a much more expensive car. I am proud to own it.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Love it! no one has said a word against it. The fact that I am getting 51mpg is a bonus and its only done 2000 miles so it can only improve. They love the full length glass roof and the pop-up sat-nav, but top of the list has got to be the HUD (head up display), great.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes. Even at full price as it is so much car for your money. The only critical remark (in the motoring books) is you need the dynamic roll control that is only on the 2 litre but at the speed that I drive I've not noticed at all.

What are you likely to buy next?

Another Peugeot (this is my 5th new Peugeot). My last car, a Peugeot 307 sw I passed on to my son who is still driving it with over 120K on the clock.

Did you get a good deal and why?

I got the best deal available at the time. Most of the offers I had were between £1000 and £2000 more, the reason is (I found out a week later) that the Ilkeston branch of Bristol Street Motors closed down. The sales lady said (and I believe her) that the branch had made £78 on my car, hows that for a deal... List price £24,400 with metallic paint and I paid £18,400, bargain.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Superb car at a rock bottom price, just look what you get!!!

What was the dealer like?

Super in all respects. I was shocked to learn it had closed.

What's it like to drive?

Superb. I am blown away at the ease of driving this car. As I said its higher than most so you see over the hedges and, more importantly, the car in front. The automatic handbrake is good and the gadgets on this model are like an aircraft.

What's it like to park?

Could not be easier. With the rear camera and front and rear audio parking is straight forward.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Not at all.

What's most practical about your car?

My wife and I are getting older and stiffer and we find the raised seat height and the general layout of the seating and the ease of simply getting in and out of the vehicle great.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

The head up display is great, you don't need to take your eyes off the road to see your speed at all times.
