Summary
What does this car say about you?
That I think more about practicality and economy than looking flash.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Everyone I know likes the car and is surprised by the acceleration, cornering and the comfort.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Probably, as it is a good compromise between practical and fun, although on the expensive side.
What are you likely to buy next?
I'd really like to be able to afford the new hybrid Volvo V60, but more likely to be a second hand Audi A6 Avant.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
The car corners extremely well, with good acceleration throughout the range. Pulling away is a pleasure with the transition from electric to diesel seamless. Economy on a run is 60 mpg, but less than the claimed mpg. Road noise is minimal, very comfortable to drive distances. Braking is effective and progressive.
What's it like to park?
Parking is made easier with the reversing sensors, although the width can be an issue in some multistory car parks. The turning circle is good and has never been a problem when manoeuvring.
