Summary
What does this car say about you?
Anyone who has one -weather the crap one or the best one has cheap insurance.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
It's good looking for its age - but stops there, when you think of say the focus or whateever which was intoduced mid-term between the 306 and 307 it could look a bit worse, but equipt wise (if you looked inside you'd be better off with the pug) and lets face it If your like me and alwasy in the car not standing compareing it the pug wins
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes short and sweet- equiptment/insurance
What are you likely to buy next?
Fiat Stilo, Newer Pug 306, or maybe and a big maybe a focus

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Independent
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£1,000
When did you buy the car?
June 2007
Did you get a good deal and why?
My wee pug was just £1000, for a 1999't' in 2007, and is a smashing wee car too. The equiptment level is astounding, and so is my insurance as well as the fuel. I have various convitions on my lic. and simply couldn't find a better ins. deal than on the pug. than I could with any other car. (I'm also 23). It came with an mot(full), and tax (6mth).
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
It was cheap to buy, and a great deal.
What was the dealer like?
Dealer was fab. recommend to go to a new born dealer just starting- mine was, they are more honest than usual.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Snug, tight to the road, passengers in the front get in your way before you start- but I am used to bigger cars, could be a little more space in the back, tho it is enough. But and big but- don't listen to anyone who says head room is ok- cause I am 5'10' and my hair scrapes it- and yes its worse in the back. (I think 5'10 is average)
What's it like to park?
the turning cricle is great - and is short to park- its easy to see around it too- even with the rear headrests (standard lx or above)

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
1 week after I bought the car there was a fuel leak, when I filled it for the first time, I was told by the guys who know- the mechanic- that its comman with low milers, (low milage means no fuel- in a cars years) Also- had to replace 4 tyres (because of criminal damage- they were slashed), and the cat. convertor (£270- knocked off on a speed bump), and finally (tho I haven't yet replaced or repaired-) the alternator which is a noise that sounds like the fan belt but isn't- don't put it off tho casue it'll mess up the battery- (£70)
What's most practical about your car?
5 doors- a nesscessity for me, but I love the auto-wipers most. (standard on lx models and above
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Wait for a 'meridion' model T plate or newer, they have half leather and air-con and are the same insurance/tax etc...
