Economy
Value
Fairly expensive and seems to have lost a lot of value. Get a lot of bits as standard though.
Costs
Peugeot servicing and parts expensive, so a Haynes manual is a must when out of warranty.

On the road
Driving
Comfortable drive, I like the driving position. Under steers easily, unless there's good rubber on the front.
Performance
Slightly sluggish but as quick as a 1.6 until 4th gear. Always overtakes OK and handles well, but need to drive it aggressively to get anywhere very quickly. Handles well when lowered with 205/45/17 on.

Living with it
Reliability
car keeps going quite well. I service it every 10,000 miles (more than reccommended) and keep replacing bits as needed. some small faults.
Image
Like the look of it,dont like the shape of a lot of newer cars, needs alloy wheels, bodycoloured bumper and bump strips looks good.
Comfort
Nice seats and lots of room. Air con and automatic temperature setting makes it nice. Bit loud at higher speeds and no drink holders.

Security and Service
Security
Never been tested thank god, but deadlocking is good and immobiliser as standard helps.
Service
wouldnt admit there was anything wrong with the gearbox when it exploded and wouldnt give a reason for it, didnt want to give me a courtesy car to get home in so was stuck outside dealership.

Problems and Ownership
Problems
Engine
Pretty reliable if kept serviced, stalls at junctions if coasting to them, not sure why.
Other
Horn stopped working. Rear wiper motor relay packed in, had to get one off an L reg car. Speedo stopped working. Tracking keeps moving slightly for no reason. Under load the engine rocks back and forth a bit much, vibrating the car.
