Economy
Value
Most Peugeot 306s hold their value, which is a good sign of stability pricewise.
Costs
This car drinks petrol. I put £40 of undeaded petrol in and it still wasn't full!

On the road
Driving
Beautiful drive, good handling. The car almost drives with you and not you driving the car.
Performance
Bit slow off the mark, but good at (legal) speed.
-
Living with it
Reliability
Had no problems in all the five years of its life.
Image
Peugeot have got an original look. Personally I wanted a car that looked good and was cheap to run etc. Ok so its not the best 306, but for a first car it's not bad at all.
Comfort
Seats are comfortable. Steering wheel could be a bit more grippy.

Security and Service
Security
Good. Immobiliser and remote central locking as standard.
Service
I bought mine from Repton Garage, a reputable and honest garage.
