  • Economy

    Value

    5 out of 5 5.0

Only a year old when bought and second hand market seems to hold value quite well.

    Costs

    4 out of 5 4.0

Fuel costs are average, averaging about 30Mpg. Servicing at a main agent is not as expensive as you might think.

  • On the road

    Driving

    4 out of 5 4.0

Smooth runner. Very quiet ride. Handles potholes very well.

    Performance

    4 out of 5 4.0

Great off the mark. Can handle its own against a Golf GTi. Top end speeds are suprising, I have it up to 124mph. Corners great, thanks to Eagle F1 tires.

  • Living with it

    Reliability

    5 out of 5 5.0

Has never let me down. Yet.

    Image

I love the 306 shape. Great lines and low ride gives a really sporty look. Standard GTi-6 alloys are great .

    Comfort

    4 out of 5 4.0

Nothing special on the inside. Interior is a little dated, but still maintains a sporty feel.

  • Security and Service

    Security

    5 out of 5 5.0

Been left in a few dodgy areas over night and no problems. Deadlock does help a lot.

    Service

    5 out of 5 5.0

Excellent service from Peugeot every time.

  • Problems and Ownership

    Problems

    Engine

Looks enormous under hydraulic bonnet. A bit of a pig to get two hands on the Oil filter. Sound construction and idles very quietly. Can be noisy when pushed, but still sounds great.

    Other

Great on insurance, as only group 6. Perfect for visual modifications. Spares can be a little bit of a pest to find exact matches.

Did you buy from the same manufacturer again?
