It says i enjoy driving but like the gadgets too.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
All think its a good car.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Already have but i have the D turbo instead. A good chassis and a bomb proof engine, engineering excellence.
What are you likely to buy next?
After my D turbo i'm after a Fiat Coupe 20v Turbo. Not gonna have similar reliability but will be a hell of a lot faster in all respects.

Did you get a good deal and why?
Yes, it was £650 with 70,000 on the clock. Absolutely everything worked on the car and it was clean and tidy.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Loved the looks from the age of about 10.
What was the dealer like?
Good guy, he though he was getting a better deal than me because of a oil leak which he couldn't identify but i found a cracked hose within 5 mins of being there..

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
1.8 8v, around 10 to 60mph and on to around 115mph. Was probably the worst engine found in a 306 (apart from the laughable 1.0 litre!) but still had no probs keeping up with Mk 3 golf gti's in a straight line. Around the twisties the 306 was a league ahead. Feels like a go kart in the corners due to the passive rear steering, awesome in the slower corners but got a tiny bit twitchy when on the limit.
What's it like to park?
If you can't park then you shouldn't be driving. Easy.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
No, the suspension needed an overhaul as the bushes were going but that was expected from a car at 14 years.
What's most practical about your car?
5 doors, big boot and bloody comfy seats.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The oil level guage. Not sure how accurate it was but it worked and i task you to find another car with one. The speaker setup was excellent for a standard car.
