  • Economy

    Value

    4 out of 5 4.0

Prices fell when 307 was first bought out. Paid £6000 for the car 3 years ago but have added £70k miles to it since, hence value drop.

    Costs

    4 out of 5 4.0

Very economical. Have had 600 miles out of a tank. Averages 520-550 miles when doing town driving and being driven harder. Needs servicing every 6000 miles, so high mileage drivers might not be too impressed! Parts last well, timing belt swap expensive.

    Driving

    4 out of 5 4.0

Good handling car when it has Michelins all round. Nice car to drive, used mainly on the motorway originally, good strong engine that pulls well. Very good grip in the dry, lots of fun down country lanes.

    Performance

    3 out of 5 3.0

Not bad for a diesel. Not the quickest off the mark but once moving it's very strong through the gears. Picks up speed well on the motorway, ideal when you want some fun. Lesser performance outweighs running costs!

    Reliability

    4 out of 5 4.0

Very reliable. Not broken down (touch wood!). Radiator failed when first bought, but fixed by main Peugeot dealer. Done 111,000 and still going strong.

Very nice looking car as standard. Not great from certain angles, but looks good in 3 door guise. Standard alloys not bad, has front fogs so looks quite sporty. Looks wide and low, much better than the 307!

    Comfort

    4 out of 5 4.0

Needs aircon but apart from that all good. Comfy bucket seats as standard, nice driving position. Replace standard stereo! Spent over 2 hours a day of motorway / A road driving, always nice to drive.

  • Security and Service

    Security

    4 out of 5 4.0

Came with keypad immobiliser, deadlocks and alarm as standard. Use disk lock for added security. No attempted thefts in my ownership. Even though it does get attention.

    Service

    4 out of 5 4.0

Always serviced by Peugeot. Never tried to rip me off. Was on first name terms due to servicing interval!
