What does this car say about you?

Hmm..think it says I am a practical person with en eye for style - it is still a good looking car today!

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

I think they like it, it is a nice place to be inside - it does smoke a bit on start up from cold though!!!

Would you buy this car again and why?

Definately - it is comfy, roomy, good on fuel, has a good turn of speed when you need it, feels safe and secure on the road and had great passenger space.

What are you likely to buy next?

At this time I do not know - probably an old, cheap, small engined car to do up wiht my son who turns 17 in a couple of years!

Did you get a good deal and why?

Yes - a lot of car for the money - no mechanical issues just looks like a previous owner used to put crates on the rook and drag them off!

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Economy, roominess, comfort, durability and didn't mind stacking the miles on as wanted it for commuting.

What's it like to drive?

Despite the fact it is over 100000 miles and is 15 years old, it pulls like a train, handles sharply eating bends up; has great grip even though I can not afford to put premium tyres on it. I think this shows that there is good mechanical grip and it does not rely on tyres alone!

What's it like to park?

The car is a doddle to park, visibility is excellent - you can actually see where the end of the bonnet is (unlike a lot of cars that slope down out of sight), the power steering is weighted perfectly and the clutch has a nice, consistent bite adn feel!

Have you had any problems with the car?

Nothing has gone wrong with it - it had dome just under 100000 miles when I got it. I changed the cambelt adn in the 5 months I have had it I have given it three oil & filter changes and two air filter changes - the newest one is a K&N filter which has totally eliminated a flat-spot and improved power a little.

What's most practical about your car?

It is very sturdy and has a lot of interior space - especially with seats folded and parcel shelf out - it is a great load-lugger!

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Air conditioning with climate control - VERY VERY useful in the current weather. Just had it recharged and it is ice-cold!
