Economy
Value
Watched it drop in price badly since buying!
Costs
Bad on fuel if driven how it wants to be, but ok insurance.

On the road
Driving
I can still thrash GTi 6s in this thing, GSIs 320s. It goes like a crazed Demon when its driven with zest!
Performance
I've yet to be beaten by anything else other than by an Audi Diesel between 50 and 80mph, then it's goodbye Audi, but nowhere near as good at corners as its ugly duckling sis, the 309 GTi.

Living with it
Reliability
Hay it's a new Pugeot. Service it at the dealer, drop the oil every 3k miles and don't thrash her every day on back roads, you're on to a winner!
Image
Big and wide, agressive when seen from behind. Tell me of a Nova driver who doesn't want to be you!
Comfort
Could do with having leathers, but you can't have it all in the poor person's GTi 6.

Security and Service
Security
Fit a CAT 1 if, like us, you have 17s on her.
Service
Really bad compared to our old 309 GTi (we are still shocked about this, maybe the Head Tech had a thing for my wife?) but I find this hard to believe as my mother inlaw is 54 and has a 1.9 205 which she services there! Odd.

Problems and Ownership
Problems
Engine
2.0 16-valve (what Peugeot do best!)
Other
Don't stick with the factory rubber, replace with 195/50/Z15 and inflate to 34 psi if on orginal tyres, or replace for 205/40/zr17s (look the biz and make the car handle a lot better, inflate to 34 psi also).
Ownership
Did you buy the car new?
Used
Would you buy the same model again?
Yes
Did you buy from the same manufacturer again?
Yes
