Economy
Value
Excellent value for money, really holding their value. Not the GTi-6, but cheaper insurance.
Costs
Main dealer costs high, but plenty of breakers. Fuel economy good, even when 'thacked'.

On the road
Driving
Just like the 106, this car has great handling. You point, it goes. Very smooth drives, but plastic control arms tend to fail and cause roll (inexpensive to put right).
Performance
2.0-litre lump is responsive but suffers from flat spots. Get the car chipped and fit an FPV and watch the smile grow on your face.

Living with it
Reliability
Peugeot quality is unsurpassed in this vehicle. In two years, the only fault was a dodgy alternator regulator.
Image
Absolutely fantastic looks. There's nothing on the road like them. Flared arches gives an aggressive appearence.
Comfort
Bucket seats, seat and wheel adjustment and full electrics.
-
Security and Service
Security
Deadlocks, security plating on door lock mechanics and excellent alarm/imobiliser.

Problems and Ownership
