Peugeot 306 Hatchback 2.0 XSi 5d (1995/N) Owner Review

-
Economy
Value
Bought second-hand, so don't stand to loose too much now I'm coming to sell.
Costs
Just the usual apart from neglect on previous owners part, but still not expensive to repair non-dealer.
-
On the road
Driving
For the age of the chassis, brilliant. Beat a lot of 'faster' cars on the right roads
Performance
120bhp not enough from a 2-litre lump. GTI-6 in a different class, but it's meant to be! but the handling makes up for it - quick enough to show up older hot hatches.
-
Living with it
Reliability
TLC and regular servicing a must.
Image
Still looks good for a 10 year old design.
Comfort
Comfortable round town or on the motorway.
-
Security and Service
Security
No problems - keypad alarm on this model gets to be a pain.
Service
Didn't use dealer to carry out repairs, apart from odd bits, but are a rip off we all know.
-
Problems and Ownership
