Economy
Value
Excellent value, performance and group 6 insurance (a good car for new drivers - very insurance friendly).
Costs
Excellent. Turbo performance with diesel running costs. I average about 400-500 miles between refuelling. Remember that the having air con switched on drops the fuel economy from 42mpg to 40mpg.

Driving
Great fun to drive! Corners like a dream! Easy to drive.
Performance
Grips like glue to the road. Loads of power and good brakes!

Living with it
Reliability
Peugeot's diesel engine is practically bulletproof, but remember to keep antifreeze topped up in the winter or it may take up to 2 attempts to start in very icy conditions.
Image
Very handsome car. You can also beat most cars off the lights (after they have laughed at your diesel engine!)
Comfort
Very comfy, loads of room, can seat 4 six-foot adults with few problems. Excellent driving position and the windows are big so you get great visibility. Electric mirrors and windows as standard.

Security and Service
Security
Remote central locking and immobilser as standard.

Problems and Ownership
Problems
Engine
Cambelt MUST be changed at 80,000 miles. Apart from that, nothing.
Other
Minor electrical fault with the boot lock motor (minor cost of repair). Always check electrical systems (especially the window and mirror controls contained in the doors).
