Peugeot 306 Saloon (1994-1999) boot space, practicality and safety

(change model)
Three-star Euro NCAP rating and ABS was optional on most early cars. Standard across the range from 1999. Passenger airbags standard from around the same time. Effective immobiliser and alarm, but locks can be relatively easily beaten.
Good in its day, but overtaken in 1998 when Ford’s Focus moved the goalposts. The choice of interior trim and fabrics could be better quality and they don’t stand up to heavy long-term use. Large boot, but can be difficult to access.
