Couldn't knock him down on price.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Not too bad. Can be sluggish uphill + you definitely need to change down when negotiating steep gradients. Cruises on motorway with some noise at 70+.
What's it like to park?
Easy - no problems.
-
Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Has never failed an MOT in 5 yrs, but electrics are poor. Had to replace starter motor TWICE (Dec 2008/April 2012) + new battery Sept 2010. Also had to replace heater stat and have new wiring loom fitted. Blaupunkt multi-CD changer no longer works, just the radio.
What's most practical about your car?
Cheap to run (despite difference between diesel + unleaded). Good for inner-city commuting.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Nothing of note. Fairly unconventional, functional design.
