No
What price did you pay?
£8,400
When did you buy the car?
January 2008
Did you get a good deal and why?
I got a fairly good deal. I got a very decent price on my part exchange, 6 months tax, GAP Insurance and MOT all for FREE.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Basically, I was running a 2.0 Ford Focus and it was costing me £250 a month in fuel to roughly 1,000 miles. I think I worked it out at 21mpg around town. I went looking a cars around £9k, low mileage and a turbo diesel when I came across this. Didn't want to pay the same for a high mileage Golf.
What was the dealer like?
Sales were outstanding. Not pushy at all and very understanding - service however is a joke.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Love the car to drive, but underpowered if you not revved when pulling away from a junction. Only problem I do have is on the motorway - sometimes wind catches you unaware due to the tallness for it.
What's it like to park?
No problems for me.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Yes. Flywheel is a problem on some of these HDI models so I had to have that replaced along with the clutch under warranty - the car had 22,000 miles on at the time. Also, the doors are really heavy so it blew out of my hand so that needing adjusting. When it came back from having new flywheel fitted, the gear linkages were loose too.
What's most practical about your car?
The size of it, it's got loads of little cupboards and plenty of storage.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Trip Computer.
