Economy
Value
For the reliability, Peugeot should be paying you to drive this car!
Costs
Not much experience of 'costs', after 10 months couldn't wait to get rid of it!

On the road
Driving
Reasonably pleasant.
Performance
The engine is nice and responsive, its just not reliable!

Living with it
Reliability
We have had this car for 10 months, bought at 3 yrs old with only 17,000 on the clock, developed a 'sticking valves' fault at 25,000. Electric windows have mind of own, as does radio.
Image
Good looks, but beauty is less than skin deep with this model, as the paint fades\scratches too easily.
Comfort
Well, the seat is comfy, its just the hot flush I get when I have to cough up a grand to repair it after 10 months. Note: Seats covered by extended warranty, engine NOT!

Security and Service
Security
Who cares, if someone nicks it cheer them on, its the best thing that's happened since you bought it!! Plus, who wants to steal the car that came 96th out of 100 in AutoExpress reliability survey?
Service
Peugeot provide customer service? News to me.

Problems and Ownership
Problems
Engine
Major engine fault, £1,000 repair at 25,000 miles, 4 years old? You must be joking! Dealer suggests this is a design fault with valve clearances.
Other
Peugeot extended warranty best used as scrap paper, rude and useless to boot. Peugeot probably fed up of hearing about 307 faults so also don't want to know. Take it from someone who has the T-shirt.
Ownership
