Summary
What does this car say about you?
Not a lot at the moment.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
My sister said its sexy, most people are pleased I have wheels again and others are sick of the problems with it tainted by the dodgy seller.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Probably not, I will try and go for a new one next time with less problems.
What are you likely to buy next?
I would still like a 207, but we'll see!!

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Didn't buy from a dealer
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£1,900
When did you buy the car?
August 2011
Did you get a good deal and why?
No. I bought the car privately and paid the top quote for an 'excellent condition' vehicle. However the longer i have it, the more faults i find that the previous seller 'forgot to mention'!!!! Things like a dodgy and squeaky exhaust, the coil pack was just about to blow, a CD jammed in the player, foam wedged in the indicator stick to stop it constantly indicating, the log book not tallying up with service work.... the list goes on.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I like peugeots and I ideally wanted a 207, however had a limited budget and stumbled accross this. Plus it was black!
What was the dealer like?
Not a dealer, but privately a bit dodgy and in need of cash more than a quick and honest sale!

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
A bit like a kangaroo during the first 10+ minutes, then smooth. Sometimes sounds like a turbo diesel rather than a petrol too.
What's it like to park?
I can actually park this car, but it is bigger and longer than it looks.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
The coil pack went (low-loaded by the AA & £200+) Passenger door doesnt always open Never played a CD as the is one jammed in the player Permanent squeak from the exhaust Replacement radiator Faulty indicator bodged up with some upholstery foam Log book that doesn't marry with sellers paperwork New tyres The stearing lock has decided not to work anymore. The side storage areas in the boot are broken.
What's most practical about your car?
The size and economy.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
I like being ale to lock myself in at the touch of a button. The under seat storage is also useful.
