Economy
Value
It's a company car, however that allows me to be completely unbiased!
Costs
Although I don't pay, it annoys me that my company don't always get good value from the dealers I use.

On the road
Driving
Not generally enjoyable. The worst aspects being the 'fly by wire' throttle, high biting point on the clutch and the lousy gearchange.
Performance
Not bad now, although very slow when new. Best now between 2000-3000rpm.

Living with it
Reliability
Has never let me down, although niggly faults take the edge off enjoyment.
Image
It's a family hatchback and, apart from the snazzy wheels, it doesn't get any sexier than that!
Comfort
Seats look good, but don't in fact give good support over long journeys. GLX trim gives pretty good spec'.

Security and Service
Security
Key activated locking not as good as my old 406. Frequently come out in the morning to find car unlocked all night!
Service
Peugeot service very very poor. They NEVER cure faults first time, NEVER have the parts in, ALWAYS have to re-order, and on only three occasions (out of four years and over 100,000mls of Peugeot ownership) had car returned from services without NEW faults.
