Value
Good value when compared with what you get -air con, power mirrors, steering wheel stereo controls, electric windows etc etc.
Costs
Cheap to run, insure and not too bad to service.

On the road
Driving
Good control, fairly quick with good cornering and a smooth ride.
Performance
Not the sportiest of cars but not bad for the price. Acceleration soon drops off when fully loaded.

Living with it
Reliability
Terrible. Has been back to garage at least 25 times in the last four years with faults alone. Everything from a detached turbo hose in the engine to electrical problems to interior trim problems. A good car when working but built very poorly!
Image
Not bad looking in the three door version with body colour trim and spoiler.
Comfort
Pretty comfortable inside with plenty of room and storage and a good driving position.
