In their own words
I bought this car as I was t really doing enough miles to warrant the extra £££ for a Golf…and a poor mans Golf is exactly what it is.
The 180 bhp engine is good but the auto gearbox is slow to respond and slow to change. Handling is quite firm a d the tyres are low profile so you get quite a harsh ride.
The seats are comfy and the cabin is really well specced, but the screen is a bit slow and doesn’t feel quite as premium.
Reliability has been okay, with just two issues. A broken front spring after 25k miles was £220 fitted. The other is occasionally the speakers stop working so no radio or parking sensor alert, which can sometimes last 1 journey but sometimes a couple of days!
