Peugeot 308 GTi (2015 - 2017) 1.6 THP (270bhp) GTI by Peugeot Sport 5d Owner Review
Want to know everything there is to know about this car?
In their own words
Overall this car is absolutely wonderful to drive. It's fairly well made and has an awesome amount of power.
It handles incredibly well and it's day to day running costs can be low if one drives it sensibly and the road tax is nice and low for what kind of car it is.
The interior of the vehicle is wonderful, the minimalist approach to the dash is simply beautiful and the comfort of the seats is something else. I drove my car for 6.5 hours with only 1 stop and it was (despite road noise from the low profile tyres) a very comfortable and enjoyable drive.
However the standard tyres are way too expensive at £260 a tyre so definitely go for another brand when they're up.
The front brake discs costs £550 each before VAT. And no you cannot source an aftermarket set for this car.
I totally recommend this car but definitely consider the costs of brakes and tyres as they get used up very fast.
How reliable do you find the car?
I had an isolated incident of which the A/C failed within 16,000 miles Not to do with reliability but after 16000 miles I need to replace the front discs and pads which will cost me £1727 to fix. Good luck finding aftermarket replacements.. believe me, as of this day I'm writing this, there are none.Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
This cat performs way better than I thought it would, however there are areas that need improving, such as better feedback through the steering wheel and an All Wheel Drive version.About their car
