To replace Peugeot 307

What was the dealer like?

Unwilling to accept any offers on price or to include ANY extras for free.

What's it like to drive?

Quick off the mark. I find the seats a bit stiff and hard on a long trip.

What's it like to park?

Good. Rear sensors help a lot.

Have you had any problems with the car?

The car had a flat spot (at take-off) on the turbo when I first bought it, so I took it back to the dealer. They changed the settings and now the turbo comes on at very low RPM, and the car is using heaps of petrol. Can't really drive the car anywhere without turbo constantly kicking in and out, which makes for a very jerky ride. The small 1.6litre engine also means that the auto is constantly up and down the gears and there is a noticeable jerk on each gear change. I need to go back to the dealer to have it adjusted back to factory specs otherwise it will cost me a fortune in fuel. Computer often reads fuel consuption at 30litre/100km - which is 5 times higher than consumption specs in Peugeot brochures. Beware of manufacturers fuel consumption estimates.
