Parts not bad. Easy to work on. Fuel economy not the best. Keeps its tyres well, however brakes are always a yearly downfall.

    Costs

Cheap car to buy and run. Ideal as a young pearson's hot hatch.

This one has somehow escaped the public eye. It has no bodyweight hence fun, fun, fun, lots of revs - love it. Corners a bit sloppy - could all be fixed with minor upgrades. A bit uncomfortable on the motorway.

    Performance

Poor man's GTi or just someone like me who cant insure a GTi, this car goes well in a straight line! Very well, however bodyroll common on corners.

Good for price. The car takes a lot of stick.

The GLX in gun metal grey has the GTi interiour body colours and front bumper. Stick on some alloys and debadge the back and only the sharp eyed can tell the difference.

    Comfort

    3 out of 5 3.0

This is not the car for the Sunday driver.
