Peugeot 309 1.9 GTi 3d (1991/J) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
Better than a 205, and cheaper! Power per pound is excellent!
Costs
Parts from dealers can be expensive, so use motor factors or independant suppliers.
-
On the road
Driving
Handling is good, brakes are capable, responsive steering.
Performance
Very good for early '90's hatchback, is as quick as newer, more expensive cars.
-
Living with it
Reliability
To be perfect it demands attention, best as second car, and only if working on problems doesn't bother you
Image
I think it's great and thats all that matters, I pay the bills!I'd never sell it, and I own several!
Comfort
Sports seats with larger bolsters are very good.

No alarm as standard, needs one though!

Getting parts is labourious, as dealers aren't always helpful
