Summary
What does this car say about you?
Wants a ferrari but can't afford it. Nah, its a classy looking car, modest.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Looks the part
Would you buy this car again and why?
yes, but i would go for the 2.2hdi turbo diesel with 136bhp, and i'd remap her to about 170bhp. The 2.0 16v petrol is FAR too slow for this heavy car, it has to labour in high revs to get anywhere.... that and the fact i'm a diesel man at heart.
What are you likely to buy next?
Either another 306 dturbo as a workhorse, or a 1997/98 bmw 325 tds

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Didn't buy from a dealer
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£2,000
When did you buy the car?
April 2007
Did you get a good deal and why?
Yes, full MOT, but crack in back bumper which i can repair and repaint myself.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
What was the dealer like?
Seller seemed VERY genuine, he was buying cars from england and selling them in northern ireland. Cars in england tend to be in better condition due to your better roads/motorways than ours.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Its a motorway cruiser at heart, returns best mpg whilst on the motorway, drinks like a fish in town. Suspension is too soft, yes its comfortable, but it causes the car to corner like a boat/shopping trolly, which i fear may bring about the end of the coupe. Steering can sometimes feel light.
What's it like to park?
Very long snout, bonnet is massive. From inside the car it is difficult to judge the length of the boot. But as with every car you eventually learn its dimensions and parking becomes a doddle.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Fuel Leak from the pipe that runs to the injector rail. £37 from peugeot Ever so slight irratic idle, pug wanted £75 for a tps sensor, i cracked open my own and repaired it.
What's most practical about your car?
Deceptively large boot which i didnt expect.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
8 well placed speakers as standard with built in jbl amp as standard. CD changer in the boot too.
