Economy
Value
Depreciates about the same as anything else in its class.
Costs
Quite good fuel economy, even around town.

On the road
Driving
Variable ride. Can be very choppy and fidgety. Noisy at motorway speeds. Not one to drive for fun. Air con is very good, however.
Performance
It will never set the road alight. Coarse engine doesn't help.

Living with it
Reliability
Engine mis-fires occasionally, yet no fault can be found. Electric windows play up, re-circulation valve on ventilation system has recently packed up and fuel gauge is also temperamental.
Image
Almost verges on pretty. Shame the paint finish is a bit poor.
Comfort
Can be surprisingly comfortable if given the right road surface, but not a good all-rounder.

Security and Service
Security
Factory fit alarm and immobiliser are a pain. Alarm goes off at the drop of a hat and no one can seem to fix it, hence it rarely gets set. Immobiliser likes to immobilise the car on frosty mornings? Maybe it just doesn't like me!
Service
Parts seem to take a long time to come from France to London? Admittedly, I have switched to a private non-franchised repairer and had excellent service.

Electrical niggles galore! VERY disappointed given the 50,000 miles! Previous two Fords (Sierra and Scorpio) both did well over 120k miles without half the niggles.
