Economy
Value
Excellent value, a lot of car for little money if purchased used!
Costs
Bad on fuel if driven lively. Other than that, servicing costs are reasonable from garages other than main dealer.

On the road
Driving
Very comfortable, accurate steering feedback and very litte body roll on cornering.
Performance
Not the fastest car in the world with being auto, but pretty good acceleration all through the range of gears.

Living with it
Reliability
So far no major problems. Car was purchased used; had to spend cash on Cat, brakes and handbrake lever (common problem I am told).
Image
Looks like it's worth a lot more than what I paid for it and not as 'sales rep' look as rivals Mondeo and Vectra.
Comfort
Comfortable on long journeys and plenty of room for the kids in the back. Very pleased with the comfort level.

Security and Service
Security
No keypad or alarm on this model, although it does have an elec-immobiliser and deadlocks.
Service
Poor service from dealer. Quoted £280 for a Cat, purchased for £209 from ATS. Quoted £190 for brakepads front and rear, paid £104 at local garage. Quoted £170 for handbrake lever, paid £99.67 at local garage.

Engine
Noisy when worked hard. Other than that, everything ok. Doesn't seem to use oil at all.
Other
Muds flaps are a pain in the butt - come off very easily when 3 adults in the back of the car - too low.
