Probably that I look like a minicab driver !
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Nothing- it's pretty anonymous. Friends have all been massively impressed with the interior quality and long distance comfort
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes. If you are looking for a cheap, comfortable, well equipped, spacious, cruiser with awesome mpg (if you drive carefully) you really cannot go wrong. Just be prepared for aircon pipe leaks and cluth slipping at around 70k miles. I've had 2 of these cars now and these faults have occured on both at the same mileage.

Wanted a comfortable, diesel saloon

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
More refined than you would expect from a 9 year old diesel. At 60mph on a smooth motorway there is very little difference in noise and comfort between this car and my Dad's 02 plate V6 Jag. It's uncanny, although push past 60 mph and it becomes obvious. Don't expect acceleration or handling to be a strong point.
What's it like to park?
I'm a lorry driver.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Aircon condenser went at 69k, clutch at 70k. This seems to be par for the course on these cars. Expect the same at the same mileages.
What's most practical about your car?
Huge boot, will take 4 adults a long distance in comfort. Unbeleivable economy. If you're not in a hurry and you turn the AC off you can easily get 70mpg plus on a cruise. (Personal best is 74.4mpg.)
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
climate control. (As long as there are no holes in the condenser !)
