Economy
Value
Brilliant list of standard equipment for the money.
Costs
Dealer servicing and repairs to suspension (not covered by warranty) have cost around £1,100.00 up to 36,000 miles. Not exactly cheap.

On the road
Driving
Creaky front seats groan on every undulation of the road surface. Clunky gearshift low geared steering make for hard work and tiring progress in town. Engine noise and tyre roar make motorway journeys tiring too.
Performance
DO NOT BUY A 90 BHP HDi CAR!!! You have been warned. Comically slow. Almost impossible to pass a 40 footer on a fast A road.

Living with it
Reliability
Never actually broken down or not started. On it fourth indicator switch. The dealer is not surprised by this.
Image
Old hat now. Too many are taxis. Still fancy the looks of the coupe, but know better than to actually have another Peugeot
Comfort
Actually not bad on a long run on good roads. Front seats are comfortable despite the creaks and groans on twists and corners. You can cover a longish distance and expect to get out feeling alright. Just a bit rough in terms of road and engine noise.

Security and Service
Security
No alarm. Did once have to get in through the boot because it was a little frosty. Everybody else's car unlocked though!
Service
Dealer has carried out servicing and repairs satisfactorily. Costs seem high for such a mainstream car.

Problems and Ownership
Problems
Engine
OK. Not brilliantly economical especially given the poor (dreadful) perfromance. Others in my company have VW/Audi TDi engined cars and have decent performance and around 10 mpg better fuel consumption. 44mpg average is poor for such a painfully slow car.
Other
Nothing specific.
Ownership
Did you buy the car new?
New
Would you buy the same model again?
No
Did you buy from the same manufacturer again?
No
