Economy
Value
Very expensive, but very rare, and absolutely stunning in black with cream leather. A genuine head-turner. Masses and masses of premium kit.
Costs
17.5mpg on average, but I did mod it up to 215bhp from 160 standard. Insurance £100 less than an Impreza. You need to be wealthy.

Driving
This car stormed into my life, stole my heart, emptied my bank account, then broke my heart. What a ride...and I'd do it all again if I could.
Performance
Goes like a thunderstorm. Corners like a 205GTi on steroids tons of grip. Much quicker than many boy racers - nobody raced me after a while because I always won. Modifying brings huge performance gains for little cost. Fabulous.

Living with it
Reliability
Car had been treated poorly so I treated it like a prince. Simple oil change and sports exhaust brought enormous performance gain with unbelievable pickup in every gear. Engine limited to 127mph with 1/4 mile time 16.0s after modding. Still going strong.
Image
Dazzling, a Sheikh would buy one if he had any common sense. Seen as an old man's car for no real reason - which idiot started that rumour?
Comfort
Interior is a dream, with excellent digital air con, arm rests, luxurious leather. Front seats tiring after 2 hours. Just a lovely car, immaculate, staggeringly attractive.

Security and Service
Security
Keypad, remote central locking, deadlocks - thieves need to tow it away to nick it. Limited steal appeal next to BMW 5 series means Pug drivers have the last laugh.
Service
Dealer helpful but expensive so did the work myself and probably saved £2000 over 3 years.
