Depreciates like a lead weight. But as I have no intention of changing it for some years that doesn't bother me one bit.

    Costs

Serving is average for a car of this size. Fuel consumption is crap but I didn't buy it to save petrol!

    Driving

It puts a smile on my face every time I get behind the wheel. The ride and handling what shame many BMW's I've owned. In a word, this car delivers more thrills per mile than anything i've owned before.

    Performance

    5 out of 5 5.0

Top speed of 150mph (where permitted) and a 0-60 time of under 8 seconds makes this a very quick and comfortable saloon. What's more there's so much torque available from as low as 2,000 rpm that cog swopping is largely unnecessaryunder normal conditions.

  • Living with it

    Reliability

    4 out of 5 4.0

Mechanically the car has been completely trouble-free. The only problems have been minor electrical faults.

Well it's not a BMW, but who cares? I rather like the feeling of driving a wolf in sheep's clothing which other drivers automatically take to be a gutless diesel..

    Comfort

    5 out of 5 5.0

Great, electrically adjustable seats (with memory) and bags of legroom front and rear mean that even 5 people can travel for long distances.
